Research classes at the Energy Science Center in Kielce are currently one of the most popular and interesting forms of integration of Ukrainian children and youth in our Organization. Especially during the summer holidays, the Association Integration Europe-East tried to provide access to ESC workshops to as many interested people as possible. After all, nearly 100 people took part in the summer integration courses organized by Association (July 19, 2023 - August 29, 2023), and almost every participant was interested in the experimental activities at the Center.
Our participants attended workshops in the popular science laboratory periodically. I prefer to participate in classes entitled: “Glowing in the Dark – Luminescence.” Moreover, an essential element of trips to ECN was visiting the "Energy" exhibition - with interactive stands and a 3D cinema.
During the celebration of Independence Day of Ukraine (organized by SIEW on August 24, 2023)
The Kielce Technology Park, which includes the Energy Science Center and the Energy Experience Center, has prepared a unique workshop offer (in Ukrainian) for the youngest participants of the event. Thanks to it, over 40 children could learn through play and experimenting (e.g. by baking key chains from shrink foil, solving puzzles or painting).
The activity was carried out as part of the project "Swietokrzyskie - good neighborhood for Ukraine", financed under the National Program Fund Asylum, Migration and Integration "Safe Harbor"
